Since coming into Philly in 98 & being somewhat conscious in 02’, Philadelphia is one of the most craziest places in the Universe. 28 years in this city and I’ve experienced a lot in this vessel. Honestly Philly is as beautiful as it is tragic, through the violence, poverty, lack of education, fixed series of events.. there is a comradery, light, rich in spirit, divine intervention that shines throughout every hood in the city. Norf Philly is the center of it all for me and my tribe, through a long ass story coming all the way from The Motherland & The Creators. Very large scale perspective, sure, but is it better highlighting the lows and looking from an ants point of view, yeah.

The Arts, the fucking arts. Taking a second and looking at a picture, a film, graffiti on the wall, a statue, all of it matters. Something that catches your attention and bleeds into your “imagination”. It’s more than that though, it taps into your inner voice, inner eyes, something you can see in your mind. I guess all i’m saying is the art around can change your fucking mind about shit. Easy to say as an artist I suppose but if we all adding to an overall story ain’t we all artist fr?

Ye probably the best picture painters, the aspect of looking beyond what’s in front of you and believing in something bigger than yourself. Culture, buying in, something that can push at an individual so strive towards perfection. No one can or will be, but the strive too, is all that makes the difference. Imhotep Charter is a place that shines from within, and has Great Men & Women who have cultivated such a culture.

At this point in the story I reckon we’re no where near the beginning or the end, so somewhere in all this there has to be a chance, a time that comes where things get better than this. And truthfully, i’m looking for a glorious story, with all the I do know, some of what i think I know, and what I don’t know at all, we have the means to change The World & The Universe, we have the means to change ourselves, if nothing else the inspiration should reach every Man at some point in time.
